Concept: paper को एक-एक fold करके खोलिए; हर बार खुलने पर holes की mirror copy fold line के दूसरी तरफ़ बन जाती है।
Paper को पहले आधा मोड़ा गया और फिर चौड़ाई के चौथाई हिस्से पर दोबारा मोड़ा गया, इसलिए आख़िरी पट्टी चौथाई चौड़ी है और उसमें चार परतें हैं।
पट्टी के दोनों diamond holes एक के ऊपर एक हैं। दूसरा fold खोलने पर diamonds के दो columns बनते हैं और पहला fold खोलने पर वे दुगुने होकर चार columns हो जाते हैं, हर column में दो diamonds।
इसलिए खुले हुए paper में चार-चार diamonds की दो rows हैं, जो option (d) है।

Concept: unfold the paper step by step; each unfolding makes a mirror copy of the holes across the fold line.
The paper was folded in half and then folded again at a quarter of its width, so the final strip is one quarter wide and has four layers.
The two diamond holes in the strip lie one above the other. Unfolding the second fold gives two columns of diamonds, and unfolding the first fold doubles them into four columns, with two diamonds in each column.
So the unfolded paper has two rows of four diamonds, which is option (d).
