मोड़ने के बाद कागज़ मूल sheet का नीचे-बायाँ quarter है। उसका ऊपर-दायाँ कोना कागज़ का केंद्र है, और छोटा square ठीक उसी कोने पर कटा है, इसलिए खोलने पर चारों copies मिलकर बीच में एक square बना देती हैं।
बाएँ किनारे के पास वाला oval चारों ओर copy होता है: चारों कोनों पर चार ovals।
पतला rectangle vertical crease को छूता है, इसलिए उसकी mirror copy उससे जुड़कर एक लंबा rectangle बना देती है; horizontal crease के साथ यह ऊपर के पास एक और नीचे के पास एक लंबा rectangle देता है।

After the folds the paper is the bottom-left quarter of the sheet. Its top-right corner is the centre of the paper, and the small square is cut exactly at that corner, so on unfolding the four copies join to make one square in the middle.
The oval near the left edge is copied to all four sides: four ovals at the four corners.
The thin rectangle touches the vertical crease, so its mirror copy joins it into one long rectangle; with the horizontal crease this gives one long rectangle near the top and one near the bottom.
