भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम (Evidence Act), 2023 की धारा 6 (साक्ष्य अधिनियम, 1872 की पूर्ववर्ती धारा 8) के अंतर्गत कोई भी तथ्य सुसंगत है, यदि वह किसी विवाद्यक तथ्य या सुसंगत तथ्य के लिए हेतु या तैयारी को दर्शाता है या उसका गठन करता है, और किसी पक्ष का पूर्ववर्ती या पश्चात्वर्ती आचरण भी सुसंगत है। मृतक द्वारा वकील से परामर्श करना और पूर्ववर्ती वसीयतें बनवाना अंतिम वसीयत की प्रामाणिकता से संबंधित तैयारी और आचरण को दर्शाता है।

The deceased's consulting a lawyer and preparing earlier wills shows preparation and conduct bearing on the genuineness of the final will.
