अनुच्छेद 4 (Article 4)3A राज्य को उद्योगों के प्रबंध में कामगारों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश देता है। इसे 42वें संविधान संशोधन (1976) द्वारा राज्य के नीति निदेशक तत्वों में जोड़ा गया।
अनुच्छेद (Article) 43 कामगारों के लिए निर्वाह मज़दूरी (living wage) और उचित जीवन स्तर से संबंधित है।
