Answer और ExplanationAnswer and explanation

Answer: (C) Article 324

Under Article 324, the Election Commission has the power of superintendence, direction and control of the elections to Parliament, the State Legislatures and the offices of the President and the Vice-President.
The Election Commission is a constitutional body; it was established on 25 January 1950 (National Voters' Day is observed on this day).
Panchayat and municipal elections are conducted by the State Election Commissions (Articles 243K and 243ZA).
The procedure for the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner is similar to that of a Judge of the Supreme Court.
