From where do plants obtain water for photosynthesis?

ExplanationAnswer and explanation

Answer: (D) From the soil through the roots

Plants obtain the water required for photosynthesis from the soil through their roots. This water reaches the leaves through the stem with the help of xylem tissue.
In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide enters through the stomata of the leaves.
Sunlight is the source of energy, which is absorbed by chlorophyll.
In this process, glucose is formed and oxygen is released.
