Dholavira is a site of the Indus Valley Civilisation located in the Kutch district of Gujarat. It is famous for its advanced water management system and for the division of the city into three parts (citadel, middle town, lower town).
It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2021.
An Indus script inscription resembling a giant signboard has been found here.
It was discovered by J. P. Joshi in 1967–68.
