Rise अपने आप उठता है, raise में किसी चीज़ को उठाया जाता है। The sun rises, prices rise; पर आप अपना हाथ raise करते हैं। Rise object नहीं लेता, raise हमेशा लेता है।
Rise happens by itself, while raise needs someone to lift something. The sun rises and prices rise, but you raise your hand. Rise takes no object; raise always takes one.
Rise intransitive है (rise–rose–risen); raise transitive (raise–raised–raised)। 'The sun rises' सही, 'the sun raises' ग़लत।
Rise is intransitive (rise–rose–risen); raise is transitive (raise–raised–raised). 'The sun rises' is correct, and 'the sun raises' is wrong.
