Minor, major का उल्टा है। जो अभी कानूनी तौर पर बालिग़ (major) नहीं हुआ, वो minor है। भारत में अठारह साल से कम उम्र वाला minor माना जाता है।
Minor is the opposite of major. A person who has not yet become 'major' (an adult in law) is a minor. In India, a person under eighteen is treated as a minor.
इस अर्थ में उल्टा adult/major; क़रीबी विकल्प juvenile। Law वाले प्रश्नों में minority (नाबालिग़ होने की अवस्था) भी आता है।
In this sense the opposite is adult or major; juvenile is a close option. 'Minority' (the state of being under age) also appears in law-related questions.
