Inedible सीधे edible का opposite है। ED-ible में eat सुनिए — edible यानी eat-able, खाने लायक; 'in' यानी नहीं — inedible यानी खाने लायक नहीं।
INEDIBLE is simply the opposite of EDIBLE. Hear 'eat' in ED-ible: edible is 'eat-able', fit to eat. Put 'in' (not) in front and inedible food is not fit to eat.
