Illegible में ‘ill’ सुनिए — इतनी बीमार लिखावट कि पढ़ी ही न जाए। Il = नहीं, legible = पढ़ने योग्य; illegible = जो पढ़ा न जा सके।
Hear ‘ill’ in ILLEGIBLE: handwriting so ‘ill’ (sick) that nobody can read it. Il means not, and legible means readable, so illegible means that which cannot be read.
