Hold यानी पकड़ना, जैसे file को दोनों हाथों से hold करना। उल्टा release, drop। कोई rule 'hold' करे यानी वह अब भी मज़बूती से टिका है, लागू है।
HOLD means to grasp, as when you hold a file with both hands. Opposite: release or drop. A rule that 'holds' is still holding firm, that is, it remains valid.
