Authority में author है — किताब का author तय करता है कि उसमें क्या जाएगा और विषय को सबसे अच्छी तरह जानता है। इसलिए authority = आदेश देने का अधिकार, या विशेषज्ञ।
AUTHORITY contains 'author'. The author of a book has the right to decide what goes into it and knows the subject best — so authority means the power to give orders, or an expert.
