Every symbol moves one place along the same loop in each step: top-left → centre → top-right → bottom-right → bottom-left → top-left. For example the pinwheel goes centre → top-right → bottom-right → bottom-left, and the hollow arrow goes top-left → centre → top-right → bottom-right.
In the last figure the hollow arrow is bottom-right, the pinwheel bottom-left, & top-right, S centre and ʒ top-left. One more step gives: arrow bottom-left, pinwheel top-left, & bottom-right, S top-right and ʒ in the centre.
