Answer और ExplanationAnswer and explanation

Answer: (A) Arthashastra

Kautilya's 'Arthashastra' states that governance is possible only with assistance, and that one wheel cannot move a carriage. This ancient treatise is based on politics, statecraft and public administration, and it stresses the training of the king.
The author of the Arthashastra was Kautilya (Chanakya or Vishnugupta), a minister of Chandragupta Maurya.
Its manuscript was discovered by R. Shamasastry in 1905.
It contains the theory of the Saptanga state (king, minister, janapada, fort, treasury, army and ally).
