राज्य वित्त आयोग (State Finance Commission) पंचायतों को निधियों के हस्तांतरण (devolution of funds) की सिफ़ारिश करता है। यह राज्य और पंचायतों के बीच करों के शुद्ध आगम (net proceeds) के वितरण तथा पंचायतों को अनुदान के सिद्धांत तय करता है।
पंचायतों के लिए राज्य वित्त आयोग का प्रावधान अनुच्छेद 243 (Article 243)-I में है।
