Advaita and Modern Life

Advaita is a Philosophy of Non-duality rooted in the teachings of Adi Shankaracharya and contending that all beings (Brahman) are linked through a singular consciousness that unites them as one. For Advaita, the realization that you (Atman) are Brahman and part of the same collective consciousness is the way out of your ignorance (avidya); however, the present day is characterized by disconnection from each other and ourselves, and even being engrossed in the materialism of consumer culture, creating an environment that could be said to be slightly barren.

Advaita gives us a moral framework and psychological explanation on how to deal with this situation by providing us with the inner insight of being detached from these socially-driven relationships based on the ego. It is also in the same vein that Advaita promotes a vision of oneness that allows for empathy and the breaking down of the artificial barriers that separate the human from the natural world and create a basis for an evolving sense of belonging among the different peoples of the Earth.

Advaita offers an eternal lens to help us redefine our responsibilities as individuals within society and how to pursue a sense of well-being and create harmony among all forms of life on the planet.

According to Advaita philosophy, which realization is regarded as the path to liberation?

Answer और ExplanationAnswer and explanation

Answer: (C) Atman and Brahman are one and part of the same collective consciousness

"The realization that you (Atman) are Brahman and part of the same collective consciousness is the way out of your ignorance." के अनुसार अज्ञान से बाहर निकलने का रास्ता यह समझना है कि Atman और Brahman एक ही हैं। धन या status को progress मानना वही materialism है, जिसकी पैसेज आलोचना करता है।

"The realization that you (Atman) are Brahman and part of the same collective consciousness is the way out of your ignorance." So the path to liberation is realising Atman and Brahman are one. Treating wealth or status as progress is the very materialism the passage criticises.

बाकी Options उत्तर क्यों नहीं हैंWhy the other options are not the answer

But Advaita calls that separation ignorance; realising oneness is the way out.
Dismissing spiritual practice altogether' seemed to follow from the idea that liberation is a realisation. But the passage makes realisation of Atman and Brahman the path, so spiritual understanding is central.
D'Treating material success and social status as signs of spiritual advancement' गद्यांश के भौतिकवाद संबंधी विषय से लिया गया प्रतीत हुआ। परंतु गद्यांश इसी भौतिकवाद की आलोचना उस अज्ञान के रूप में करता है जिससे मुक्त होना है।'Treating material success and social status as signs of spiritual advancement' used the passage's theme of materialism. But the passage criticises exactly this materialism as the ignorance one must leave.
